Welcome to McFarland Unified School District

This is the first step in registering students to McFarland Unified School District and this survey allows you to quickly start the process of registering your student(s) for school. A helpline is listed for assistance at the bottom of this information if you have any questions or need assistance obtaining required documents.

For registration you will need the following:

1. Evidence of child's age. Items may include:(Education Code 48002)

  a. A certified copy of a birth certificate or a statement by the local registrar or county recorder certifying the date of birth.

  b. A duly attested baptism certificate.

  c. A passport.

  d. When none of the above documents is obtainable, an affidavit of the parent/guardian.

  e Other means prescribed by the Board.

2. Up-to-date Immunization Card

3. Dental Exam

5. Proof of current address under parent/guardian name

Examples include:

  a. Property tax payment

  b. Rental property contract, lease or payment receipt.

  c. Utility service contract, statement or payment receipt.

  d. Pay stub

  e. Voter registration

  f. Correspondence from a government agency

  g. Declaration of residency executed by the student's parent/guardian

  h. If the student is an unaccompanied youth as defined in 42 USC 11434a. a declaration of residency executed by the student

  i. If the student is residing in the home of a caregiving adult within district boundaries, an affidavit executed by the caregiving adult in accordance with Family Code 6552.

6. Emergency contact names, phone numbers, and addresses

7. CALWORKS 7-digit ID # (if available)

8. Any transfer paperwork you r previous school provided: transcript, attendance, etc.

For TK/Kinder Enrollments

Up-to-date Immunization Card; with TB results March 1, 2024 or after Physical Exam dated March 1, 2024 or after, waivers are available, Dental Exam dated March 1, 2024 or after, waivers available.

Eligibility birth dates for TK or Kindergarten:

Transitional Kindergarten: For children who will  be 4 on or before September 1, 2025

Kindergarten: For children who will be 5 on or before September 1, 2025
